SHIBARI AS RITUAL

Private Practitioner Training

A 30-hour private mentorship for therapists, coaches, bodyworkers, and facilitators who want to bring rope into deep transformational work.

This is not a shibari training.

This is a professional embodiment training on using a simple rope as a tool for presence, containment, nervous system attunement, emotional regulation, and embodied transformation.

The rope stays simple.

The presence goes deep.

Shibari, in this approach, is not about restraint.

It is about creating a clear, intentional container where the body can soften, the nervous system can feel held, and deeper layers of self can safely emerge.

Who This Is For

This training is designed for practitioners who work with people in intimate, emotional, somatic, therapeutic, or transformational spaces.

It may be for you if you are a:

Therapist, coach, healer, bodyworker, intimacy practitioner, somatic facilitator, ceremonial guide, or shibari practitioner who wants to bring more depth, safety, and intelligence into your work with rope.

You do not need to become a technical rope expert.

You need to become someone who can hold more presence, more complexity, more intimacy, more life.

The Method

The training begins with you receiving a rope journey yourself, so the method is not only understood intellectually, but felt in your own body.

From there, we move into the core frameworks of Shibari as Ritual:

Consent as self-trust
Trauma-informed facilitation
The Wheel of Ritual Presence
The 4 INs framework: Intake, Intention, In-Space, Integration
Rope Bondage Somatics
Elemental rope flow
Working with eros responsibly
Personalized affirmations in rope
Contemplative self-inquiry

Archetypal Journeys
Afterglow, closure, and integration

This is where rope becomes more than technique.

It becomes language. Structure. Mirror. Meditation. Containment. Ritual.

What Makes This Different

Rina Fialka _ Mira Mira Photography Studio _ Austin Texas-21_websize.JPG

Most rope education focuses on form, beauty, technique, or scene dynamics.
This training focuses on what happens underneath.
How do you create enough safety for someone to soften?
How do you recognize when intensity is useful - and when it becomes too much?
How do you work with emotion without trying to fix it?
How do you guide eros without getting lost in lust or shame?
How do you close a deep experience so it becomes integrated rather than just intense?
This training is for practitioners who understand that transformation does not happen because something dramatic occurs.
It happens because the body finally feels held enough to meet what is real.
